Sparkbrook Elim Christian Centre is part of the Elim Pentecostal Churches, a growing Movement of more than 550 Christian congregations in the United Kingdom, Ireland and over 40 nations around the world.

Here at Sparkbrook, our vision is to love God faithfully, serve one another sincerely and help our community to flourish and prosper. We constantly aim to help everyone who comes to our church to get closer to God and fulfil their destiny. We believe that God has a purpose for you, and we will be delighted to help you live and fulfil that purpose.

Who We Are

Sparkbrook Elim Christian Centre is part of the Elim Pentecostal Churches, a growing Movement of more than 550 Christian congregations in the United Kingdom, Ireland and over 40 nations around the world. Elim was founded in 1915 by George Jeffreys a young Christian from Maesteg in South Wales. Jeffreys and a group of friends, known as the Elim Evangelistic Band, preached, started churches and witnessed a move of God that was characterised by miraculous healings and an explosion in the number of people becoming Christians. The ripple effects of this great revival that spread across the nation, gave birth to Sparkbrook Elim in 1931.
